The head of the Addis Ababa City Roads Authority (AACRA), Habtamu Tegegn has been appointed to lead the Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) replacing Araya Girmay, who was transferred to the Ministry of Transport (MoT) as a state Minister.
Habtamu was appointed to his new position effective Tuesday July 17, 2018.
Araya in turn was appointed as a state minister by a letter signed by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD).
The appointments have also left AACRA’s top position vacant.
